Installé dans ses fonctions de Directeur général de la SAPCO-Sénégal SA, le 21 mai 2024, M. Serigne Mamadou Mboup a présidé la première réunion de coordination, mardi 03 juin en présence des membres du comité des directeurs, délégués et coordonnateurs au niveau national.
Une prise de contact au cours de laquelle M. Mboup a décliné la vision stratégique qu’il compte mettre en œuvre à la tête de la Société d’aménagement et de promotion des côtes et zones touristiques du Sénégal. Le Directeur général de la SAPCO-Sénégal ambitionne de promouvoir le patrimoine culturel et historique à côté du tourisme balnéaire. Il s’est engagé à faire de la SAPCO-Sénégal « un leader incontesté dans l’aménagement et le développement du tourisme en Afrique ».
Ce mardi, la délégation Sud qui pilote les projets phares de la SAPCO en Casamance était à l’honneur lors de la réunion de coordination sous la houlette du nouveau Directeur général. Lesquels projets devraient contribuer à booster le tourisme dans la partie sud du Sénégal.
